Stop sharing a printer

You can stop sharing a printer that is physically connected to your computer, so Network Magic no longer shares it with other users in your home network.

1. Click Printer Manager.

2. Click the printer you want to stop sharing.

3. Do one of the following:
   
   In the Tasks tab, click the stop sharing task.
   
   Right-click the printer, and from the shortcut menu select the option to stop sharing.

4. At the confirmation dialog box, click Yes. 

You can also stop sharing a printer using Microsoft Windows. The steps for this differ among Microsoft Windows versions. For information, see the Windows Help.

Note

If you want to stop sharing a printer that is physically connected to another computer, go to that computer and use Network Magic to stop sharing.
